Intriguing title! I’d very much like to see the whole hymn myself.

John Julian lists it as one of the hymns in Dr. Croly’s 1854 Psalms and Hymns for Public Worship. But I’m afraid, after that, I drew a blank. Checked a couple of dozen resources in my own library and on the Net, but to no avail. Sometimes these old books have been scanned, and you can actually look through them, page by page, on the Net. But I couldn’t find anything like that. I have hymn books in my library dating back to the 1850’s but it wasn’t there either.

I’m sure the Anglican Church has a department that preserves historical records and documents. I know the Salvation Army does, and they have helped me a couple of times to find information on their own hymns. If you haven’t done so yet, I suggest you contact them and see if they can put you on the right track. Sorry I couldn’t be of more help.
