An Easter Love Story
The Bible says, “God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us” (Rom. 5:8). Easter is a love story! John 3:16 tells us about the gospel, the good news of what God did for us, in love, through His Son. There we see:
- The Reason for the Gospel–that “God so loved the world”
- The Record of the Gospel–“That He gave His only begotten Son”
- The Reception of the Gospel–salvation for “whoever believes in Him”
- The Result of the Gospel–that we “should not peris but have everlasting life.”
